  • Overview

    Northwest Pallet Services, LLC is currently interviewing for an On-Site Warehouse Lead Supervisor in  Indianapolis, IN at our customer's distribution center to run their pallet operation. As a working manager, this position provides the leadership, management, and vision that is necessary to ensure the operating efficiency at the highest level of customer service in a high paced facility. This position is tasked with leading a crew of 5-10 employees within a dedicated area at a customer location and operating a forklift. This is an independent, high performance position.     Saturday - Monday

    6:00AM to 6:00PM

    Starting pay: $14.50/hour

    Responsibilities

    • Coaching of employees that models the values and culture of the company
    • Hiring and training of new employees
    • Effective communication with customers and employees
    • Ensure that all key processes – production, safety, and servicing – are understood by employees
    • Coordinate inbound / outbound flow of product
    • Daily reporting of production
    • Forklift Operation

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record of success and stability 
    • Demonstrated solid decision making
    • Ability to provide new ideas “think outside the box"
    • Works well unsupervised
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Results oriented and can meet commitments
    • Word and Excel proficiency
    • Forklift Experience
    • Bi-lingual / financials a plus
    • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary

    Work Environment:

    • While performing duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions including hot and cold temperatures.
    • Maintains a safe work environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies.
