Due to this exceptional amount of growth, the company will be moving its headquarters from Belvidere, IL to Schaumburg, IL in 2019. We are hiring a Customer Service Operations Representative to be part of the Customer Service team supporting Brokerage Operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Process all incoming requests for non-DC accounts
    • Customer Service-heavy inbound telephone and email interaction with customers and vendors and transportation providers
    • Place orders or forward the call to the appropriate Logistics Coordinator
    • Communicate updates to customers and Logistics Coordinators
    • Update order information including but not limited to pallet quantities and driver eta's
    • Cross reference our internal order management system with customer’s system to ensure accuracy and that all orders are updated daily.
    • Contact customers and vendors via phone and other communication methods to confirm if service was completed and to get feedback on overall performance
    • Pro-actively reach out to customers who have not recently requested service
    • Assist in scheduling and updating auto orders for the brokerage operations teams
    • Input monthly Purchase Orders for customers so auto orders generate the updated information
    • Provide overflow coverage to support brokerage operations team as needed

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year of customer service experience or equivalent combination
    • Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word)
    • Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Knowledge of supply chain/logistics processes is preferred but not required
    • Bilingual/Spanish a plus
    • Work in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
    • Strong problem-solving skills
