    We are hiring a Customer Service & Sales Execution Lead to support local plant operation customer support and sales while efficiently executing & optimizing customer service and maximizing the overall NWP plant sales, product mix and volume through our brokerage and recycling network order processing. This role will directly interact with:

    • Customers
    • Sales
    • Order entry
    • ERP/MRP inventory
    • Production planning systems
    • Network optimization for fleet transportation of pickups (cores) and deliveries (pallets) 
      • Tracking and resolution
    • Bid and quote preparation
    • Invoicing that maintain customer service KPI targets and metrics. 

     This position is located at our Plant in Belvidere, IL.

    Responsibilities

    Customer Service 

    • Serve as a liaison between NWP plant operations and brokerage to optimize integrated value to NWP to execute sales & operational planning for core stops, pickups, freight cost, etc. between these organizations while maintaining customer service levels.
    • Seek to continually and consistently delight customers with positive service interactions through driving standardized order entry, timely customer feedback on order status, coordinate new business, processing of quote, transparently resolving issues.
    • Seek and implement timely solutions to customer concerns, issues and opportunities.
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams on effective and efficient communications.
    • Takes measured risks, exercising sound judgment, respecting priorities, resource requirements & time allocation and provides a strong example for other team members

    Sales Execution Lead

    • Supports efficient execution of sales mix and volume, seeking margin enhancement & operational goals through a variety of lean supply chain and optimization methods and provide routine feedback to Plant Operations and KPI performance & variance analysis
    • Generate weekly reports for tactical & strategic account leadership review that include recommendations to enhance margin, lower cost, reduce inventories for execution.
    • Support & drive new business opportunities, daily sales quotes & onboarding, maintains bill of materials, up to date product specifications, price changes, market trends, etc.
    • Finds cost reduction and process improvements that convert to financial impact.
    • Attend applicable trade shows, industry events as set forth by the VP of Operations.
    • Make decisions that align with the company’s core mission, vision and values.

    Qualifications

    • Experience working in a high-performance team culture/environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in pallets, recycling, transportation, customer service and or waste management industries preferred.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain, transportation, or a logistics environment.
    • 3-5 years of a demonstrated track record of understanding customer service roles and expectations and building internal/external customer relationship management.
    • Proficient in data analytics, computer proficiency skills and systematized/data driven.
    • Strong planning, execution skills, incident investigation and conflict resolution.
    • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Organized and detail oriented with strong writing, interpersonal and presentation skills
